41C. That's hot as hell. Our summers have gotten cooler over the
years, we might only get 3 or so days over 40C now when about a decade
ago we would get about 10 to 15 days over 40 with a few as hot as 45C
(113F). Wetter nowdays too, more rain here than London or Melbourne.

    Global warming in reverse :)

i.e., have isolated the above remark for attention & comment...

why? because it stands on it's own, and/or could even be (and has been)

it doesn't detract from anything you said that led up to it, isn't even in direct reference to it so the 'context' in which it was originally stated doesn't actually matter/need not be included, and isn't done ignorantly
either but as in-humour to previous conversations re global warming, a completely different subject :)

There is very little evidence where I live, in the southwest corner of Australia, of global warming. Here, it is quite the reverse - more
rain, more temperate summers and colder winters. Things are green
here, growing like the fucking jungle and I should know, I was born in
far north Queensland, well in the tropics.

Perhaps an anomaly, who knows? In the east of Australia, there is
another drought. But then again, we are the driest continent too.

I don't think we could say that global warming due to anthropic causes
is an "old debate". Especially in view of the temperatures you are
feeling, right now, in London, and the burning of the Arctic Circle,
and the deaths in Portugal, and the fires in California...

We are having one of the wettest winters here in my memory of this
place (40+ years) and we typically have more rain here than London.
It's fucking raining all the time here. Pain in the arse...

    ### - yeah, it did get a bit warm there - for about a week lol - now
it's-mid august (peak of our summer here) and the temp has dropped again
to around a high today of only: 19c with showers and is quite windy, plus
60+ years ago i was apparently born in a similar 'heat-wave'; only now
they call it global fucking warming?? gimmie a break already! haha!

look, we're apparently living in a warm period (the last 10,000 years)
right in the middle of a major ice age, so fluctuations in mean-temp are
to be expected... and any minute now the whole warm period is likely to
end and freeze back over for the next 100,000 years if anything hehehe...

and so what we gonna call that then: anthropic cooling??

same tax markup btw just different excuses for the hike lol

    King of denialism.

    ### - it's you who's in denial jeremy, denial of the 'underlying' reality
that everything in nature is aware of + still relates to, all except us
    human cunts heh...

apparently we fell over somewhere along the way, got ourselves lost, and
so now know only materialistic hand-to-mouth survival-crap and precious
little else, orphans from a more ancient world now buried and long
forgotten... farther & farther we've walked away from it until eventually everything's dying (couldn't 'get' much farther away from it could we!)

and so now we either proudly march-on to our ultimate arrogant demise
despite the promised false hopes of the rationalists of conquering space they're selling, or we retrace our steps and start going back the other
    way ;)

i.e., we gots to get back to the garden maan :D

That's trying to weasel out of it by changing the subject. Evidence
for serious human-caused global warming is now *undeniably strong*.
And yet you're STILL in denial about it. That figures of course.

Btw, I *don't* deny that we're just another part of nature
and thus ought to behave that way. I'm totally on-board with it.
Duh. And I've said things along those lines over and over.
So that was yet another distorted accusation from you. :)
