Well done!
You seem like a bit of a gambler though. That's bad for the soul.
Good things must generally be earned...

### - of course am a gambler! LIFE is a gamble! full of uncertainties!
accordingly, ya have to 'intelligently' play the odds and probabilities!
and gambling on (for example) horses is only like doing press-ups for the
real thing! a regular reminder that one is constantly up against
incredible odds of even just making it through to the next fucking day??
and 'intelligent' gamblers (i.e., people who're aware that they're only gambling for the deeper motive/purpose involved) eventually get to
actually know that! thus it leads to a different kind of (i'd have to say)
more astute awareness than average, directly!
and being the poor blind & dumb schmucks we are we need every bit of help
we can possibly get and/or give to ourselves!
and that's all it is!
you, for example, would imho and observation, likely make a fairly 'good' gambler in that context, and never a sucker simply and solely if only
because you DON'T like it! thus to actually go INTO it in order to try
unravel some of life's shit, would likely render good results because
you're NOT attached to it in any way! your disdain for it actually
protecting you in that sense from letting it ever take over your life (as apparently anything can IF ya lets it!)
it's good that you don't 'like' it, so now get out there and go 'do' it
until until you feel like you've learned something more about life, the universe & everything that you didn't know before! that it can be thus used/employed as such as a vehicle to higher learning, provided as long as
one is (and remains) aware that that's what you're trying to do! ;)
for a beginner, i'd suggest running/having an account with yourself (i.e.,
a fixed $100 stake say) and sticking to that, judiciously betting/playing,
if nothing else, so as just to make it last as long as possible, and
because it's almost impossible to win big, little wins thus = free bets,
while at the same rime still going about it in such a way so as to
increase your chances of at least staying even...
otoh, anything 'can' happen, and from that pov i always feel that really
it's the 'bookie' that's taking all the chances hah, and 'coz if any of my 'full' bets come-off he gonna fuckin' feel/know about it lol... whereas,
what am gambling with is actually only pennies versus that...
basically, you have such disdain for the whole thing that you'd never ever
get suckered in and lost in that world (it 'is' a private little world ya
know, quite exclusively distinct from the more general average one most
people are walking around in by comparison, check it out... you might be surprised that it even exists!)
