one of China's controversial man-made islands, Lt. Gen. Kenneth
McKenzie, director of the Joint Staff, told reporters, "I would just
tell you that the United States military has had a lot of experience
in the Western Pacific taking down small islands."

Lol. I can imagine the warlords in Peking and their dictator spewing
over this. The US lost a lot of troops taking Guadalcanal and all the
other islands and they fucking well know how to do it (1600 dead
marines alone just in Guadalcanal, 24,000 dead Japs).

I like this guy. I like his stance. Looks like the US will stand
against China, which is our major trading partner and our major
threat. I have no doubt that if push comes to shove and a state of
war comes into existence between the US and China, we will be there
keeping the US' back, as usual.
