    i think someone is controlling
the flow of news from that region.

    ### - lol ya think?? (too right it's controlled!)

    who
could it be? which fat cat controls the
    media?

    ### - dunno what's it's called across the pond, but here when they don't
want ya's to know about something going on, government can slap what's
called a 'D' notice on it and no one's allowed to print it or even talk
    about it in the media!

added to which, there's always an element of bias when it comes to
reporting the news in favour of home-support anyway? - e.g., we're always
the good guys and the enemy = hitler, or is evil or a terrorist and/or
anything very emotive along those lines; like ya never cheer for the
opposing team? (think they call that treason or summat lol...)

if we shoot down 10 of their planes we report 25 were shot down!

if they shoot down 100 of ours we report only 4

    etc etc etc...

and then to top it all, the victors write the history of whatever happened
    + how etc??

thus the red indians were savages! (not a lot ya can do with savages, huh, except exterminate 'em that is heh... and everyone back home agrees 'coz
they wuz savages who raped white women and stuff! and 'coz that's wot is
said in the paper and on the news! fucking savages! kill 'em! yeaaa!)

and which of course extends into other areas too they don't really want
peeps to go too much into: thus science is implicitly BETTER than
literature!? why? 'coz ya prolly wont earn much being a poet so it's not encouraged! to the point, for example, that literature & art are actually considered to be second class degrees!?! (when actually the reverse is
    more likely true!)

    i.e., from the strictly 'human' pov ya might learn more about life, the universe & everything from literature & history than from science;
literature & history will make a good 'human' of you, but then that's not really to be encouraged because people like that might one day
denounce/decry the way things are all set up for everyone to be scientists
& engineers rather than... decent human beings :)

and there prolly isn't any area in wallyworld life this crap doesn't touch/influence!

A first official statement comes from authorities about the missile
defense sirens heard a short time ago on the Golan Heights.

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/golan-sirens-caused-by-drone-from-syria-entering-israeli-airspace/

An unmanned aerial vehicle penetrated Israeli airspace over the northern
Golan before it was shot down, the Golan regional council tells residents
    in a message.

The Israeli missile that intercepted the drone is what appears to have set
off the incoming rocket alert system, the local government says.

Golan residents are clear to come out of their bomb shelters.

    ### - report now denied by israel claiming only a false alarm heh...

yeah we believe ya! of course we do! false alarm!

    hopefully heh :)

    ### - smile... well, before he was prez he was actually the head of the
    cia!?!

meaning that; if 'anyone' was ever in a genuine position (of info
gathering) to really be 'able' to know what was 'really' going down on
this plant & why etc, then surely it should've been he??

but nooo... (laffing...) he was all into military stuff, money & killin'
    people and shit?

    the 'opposite' of humanitarian!

    of 'humanity' lol :)

Yeah, I think that was it. Thousands were wounded and over 50 killed,
and they probably got tired of that. This happened the next day:

PLO Announces Strike in Palestinian Territories
on Tuesday to 'Mourn' Slain Gazans

    By Reuters

    May 14, 2018

JERUSALEM — The Palestine Liberation Organization called
a general strike across the West Bank and Gaza on Tuesday
in response to the deaths of Gazans killed by Israeli troops
at a border protest, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa
    said Monday.

The agency reported that PLO Executive Committee member
Wasel Abu Yousef announced a "complete strike" across the
Palestinian Territories "to mourn the martyrdom" of those killed
    in Gaza on Monday.

    ***

So they all went "on strike". That's it so far.
As the old saying goes: it's quiet; maybe too quiet.
