• Peace breaks out on the Korean peninsula...any comment, Brian?

So Trump does what no other POTUS has been able to do, namely, set the
scene for what happened yesterday when Kim met Moon and they held
hands and committed to an end to the Korean War this year.

    Excellent, excellent result.

Let's see you convert this triumph of the spirit of mankind into some
sort of negative outcome slider. You always do. Yet billions see
this as a huge step towards permanent peace in Korea and unification
and a really big success for Comrade Trump. I can guess how you see
    it.

    Schadenfreude anyone?

the longer I live, it's a natural process due to experience. It's

God what rubbish. Of course you believe - in the continuity of day
following night, plentiful oxygen for your lungs, birdsongs, the
improbability of another Everest sized asteroid hitting the earth
while you live, the innate righteousness of someone in your life
(mother? sibling? lover?), the fact I'll always give you shit until

No pathological relates to sickness, love is an abstraction which has
no place in scientific analysis of human behaviour and brain
    dysfunction.

And are you admitting you are a monster Slider? If you think that,
you have a symptom of MAJOR depression. Clinical depressives always
hate themselves foremost and firstmost. This in turn leads to slow or
fast suicide or at least genuine attempts thereat.

If this is the case, I feel for you. Depression is horrible. I know

illness and the view that there was no solution and no one could help.

You don't have friends, let alone best friends. People like you don't

constructed over the decades. You do NOT want that upset, therefore,
    no friends.

You missed the point. You said you are "cold" and cynical, I said

Well I'm not going to argue the point about Ronnie or Jimmy - they
were decent people with different views on life and nations and a lot
of power. Chamberlain was decent, read your history - he was misled
by Hitler and then followed by a major mass murderer, Churchill. Next
to Winston, Chamberlain was a total innocent (Churchill = Bengal
Famine, Dresden Firebombing, African war crimes etc).

Read your history Slider. You will become both enlightened and
    persuasive.

said "The victor will always be the judge and the vanquished the
    accused".

I don't think I'm dumb Slider. I've been misled and confounded and
mistaken but I've never been dumb. Made bad, really bad, decisions,
but even then haven't been dumb.

But I agree I can be gullible. We all can. It's part of being human. Remember?

So you had a rotten childhood. Big deal. Millions, perhaps billions,
had unhappy childhoods. Don't blame the parents, your parents. They
had their own demons and hardships to contend with. Cut them some

cunts; i know what they're like! lol) ;)

    but it's true though i don't have any... faith? (i.e., i don't 'believe'
in anything! 'believing' in shit is a crappy way of going about
    things?) i
deal only in what i 'know' to be correct, which is very little! i KNOW
they're a bunch of simpleton cunts, for example, but then sometimes they
still surprise me heh, and i like that ;)

God what rubbish. Of course you believe - in the continuity of day
following night, plentiful oxygen for your lungs, birdsongs, the improbability of another Everest sized asteroid hitting the earth
while you live, the innate righteousness of someone in your life
(mother? sibling? lover?), the fact I'll always give you shit until
you stop talking shit, the list of your beliefs goes on and on :)

    ### - there's things i accept and things i don't/can't accept, but i don't 'believe' in anything heh... how is it you have so much trouble with this simple term? :)

i just DON'T trust the fuckers see? none of 'em! - never did never
    will!

You don't trust anyone on the planet. That's pathological but you
    will never see it.

    ### - 'pathological' suggests a lack of love, but it's quite possible to
love even a monster hehehe (beauty & the beast?)

No pathological relates to sickness, love is an abstraction which has
no place in scientific analysis of human behaviour and brain
    dysfunction.

    ### - love is a sickness now?? lolz :))))

And are you admitting you are a monster Slider?

    ### - oh ffs! (cracking up hehehehehe...)

    If you think that,
you have a symptom of MAJOR depression. Clinical depressives always
hate themselves foremost and firstmost. This in turn leads to slow or
fast suicide or at least genuine attempts thereat.

    ### - ahahahaha! (thang's gone-off into one again lol :))))

have you quite finished now? can we get back to our conversation now??

    geeze... :D

If this is the case, I feel for you. Depression is horrible. I know
of 18 year olds who gassed themselves in cars due to major depressive
illness and the view that there was no solution and no one could help.
I mean this, I'm not sniping at you - this time :)

    ### - yeah yeah am sooo depressed that's why am laffing my proverbial arse
off all the time at the antics of peeps like you & jer perhaps?? :)

i trust 'em to be the bunch of cunts they are? ignorant cunts! but
pardonable 'because' of their ignorance heh... (they don't exactly
    'know'
what they's doin'? and if ya gets in their way they 'will' trample on
    ya...)

LOL some of my best friends are ignorant cunts! :)))

You don't have friends, let alone best friends. People like you don't
let people close. Too vulnerable to other opinions, other views which
would, could, contaminate the world view you have so carefully
constructed over the decades. You do NOT want that upset, therefore,
    no friends.

    ### - am just a very private person is all thang... i can get close to
people but they can't get close to moi... am beyond their ken! (i can jump
onto 'their' island anytime but they can never seem to jump onto mine
and/or have yet to meet someone who can...) - plus your amateur attempts
at psychology are worse than pathetic as you struggle to make-sense of
what you can't possibly understand... there's no explanation for what i
do, it can be 'experienced' but not explained, and even then it would only
be your own experience of same you'd be describing not mine! (ya might as
well attempt to define an acid trip! it can't be done! some thing aren't
    that simple!)

anyone who even gets INTO that business is suspect!

and yes am cold & cynical + extremely sceptical!

And you're *old* and cynical too :)

    ### - oh i must be gettin' on for around a quarter-to-dead by now i
    reckon
    hah!

not much longer now! and it's all down-hill ;)

You missed the point. You said you are "cold" and cynical, I said
"and you're "old" and cynical". It balanced on your typo, Mr
    Aspergers.

Corrent response would have been, to speak new-age - "my bad".

    ### - it wasn't a typo hehehe :D

they're all a bunch of lying thieving shits right? (damn right they
    are!)

Was Ghandi a lying thieving shit? Or Mandela? Or Carter, or
Gorbachev, or even Reagan? Or Kennedy? Or Chamberlain?

    ### - but there's always the exception to the rule right? (and they
    'always' stand out! smile...)

i.e., ghandi & mandela were in a class of their own anyway (ghandi was a
lawyer and then a holy man, mandela was a freedom fighter who
    'overnight'
was 'pushed' into being president in order to save the day with just his
    usual philosophy for which he'd been imprisoned for the last 28 years;
    the
only person in south africa who believed that it was 'still' possible
    for
black & white people to live together in peace! a rather obvious
philosophy that only originally got him locked up because it just didn't
fit in with the times of apartheid! now it was his 'solution that was
really incredible!: everyone forgive everyone else and start over or
    we're
all dead! and it worked!?!? cool...)

ya can keep the rest with perhaps the exception of gorby & kennedy, and
more recently obama heh :D ((reagan? that actor?? he did read his lines
well though heh, and will give jimmy a pass if only 'coz he pardoned tim
leary...) but all the rest of 'em? pah! i say: pah! pigs that don't fly
straight! as bent as a 9-dollar note sport! and as crooked as a
    clockwork
    orange! :)))

You will become both enlightened and
    persuasive.

    ### - oh fuck off you condescending cunt! lol am totally 'immune' to your
    shit heh :)))

am an old history student thang! don't EVER trust em!

No you're not. I am and I recognise your lack of knowledge in most
historic subjects. To make the statement above, grandiose in its
ambit, demonstrates your broad lack of knowledge of history. Or the
pathology of your outlook on the world, humanity and life.

    ### - you want the 'academic' version or the 'real' version?

(clue/hint: the 'victors' are the one's who always write the 'academic'
    versions thereof hah...)

Misattributed to Churchill, more likely from the pen of Goering who
said "The victor will always be the judge and the vanquished the
    accused".

    ### - who gives a shit!? stick to the subject + don't prevaricate/deflect
    like that!

there are academic versions of history (which are usually proven wrong in
the long term btw) and then there's the 'real' version of what 'actually' happened! - that when the victors write history it's always in their own favour/justifies their war crimes while repudiating the opposition's!

plus know, before ya even start, that they don't EVER fly straight!

these 'people' are NOT the saviours of this world; they're the
    destroyers!

    it's what they do! :)

they ARE the blind leading the blind!

now stop being quite so... blind!?

Stop being so ignorant. You think every person living and dead has
and had evil intention and complete lack of morality and courage of
    convictions. How ridiculous you sound.

    ### - and how gullibley dumb... you sound?

I don't think I'm dumb Slider. I've been misled and confounded and
mistaken but I've never been dumb. Made bad, really bad, decisions,
but even then haven't been dumb.

But I agree I can be gullible. We all can. It's part of being human. Remember?

    ### - you're not unintelligent (so not literally dumb) it just 'sounds'
(comes across) like it when you make such sweeping statements as monsters
    like trump being... ok??

    they're NOT ok! - they're monsters! - monstrous human beings! :)

and see them for what they are!

I just see people, just like me. Alive for a short while and then
dead. Same fears, same motivations broadly speaking. Most of them
firmly believing in what they do and that what they do is for the good
of mankind or at least their own people. The Idi Amins, Stalins,
Hitlers, Shahs and Husseins of the world are aberrations - not the
    rule.

    ### - best add old trumpy to that list as well right? 'coz he's
*obviously* as honest as the day is long innit huh? (lol yeah
    riiiiight...)

truth is... we all ALL start off as completely innocent & perfect little
beings in every respect! (lol even trumpy!) totally! absolutely NOTHING
wrong with 'em! - and then the world happens to them! - first from their
parents, whom, in their own ignorance mostly, do most of the damage
setting those otherwise perfect little souls on their roads to ruin,
mostly because those same parents were completely fucked up in their
    turn
in exactly the same way by 'their' parents before them! and so on, and
    so
on, right back into the mists of time! it's like a disease that's passed
from generation to generation, a certain sickness of the mind! that by
    the
time those same kids reach 20 they're 'already' mostly insane and/or at
    least profoundly disturbed!

So you had a rotten childhood. Big deal. Millions, perhaps billions,
had unhappy childhoods. Don't blame the parents, your parents. They
had their own demons and hardships to contend with. Cut them some
    slack. It will help.

    ### - calm down heh, my childhood was no better or worse than any average
other thang, probably better, the above rest is merely observation based
on nearly a lifetime of such observation of a world gone nearly completely mad... plus some suggestions as to how & why is all... (try to be more 'objective' ok? we're examining 'world' history here! not personal
    history!)

lennon didn't have such a bad childhood either yet still managed to write 'working class hero' based on 'intelligent/enlightened' observation
    alone...

and now, instead of merely slotting it all neatly into some kinda
'dismissive explanation' of yours based on a poor childhood (probably your
own heh) listen instead to his WORDS! and to the 'implication' (and ramifications) of what he's actually... suggesting!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsmQhbd1KWE

and then talk about 'that' - not about me or you personally!

(we're 'out' of all that!) ;)

    ### - you asked me once quite a while back why i always laugh so much?

    well that's why! :)

i.e., it's not because am depressed but because certain things make me
