    ### - the 'importance' of jazz is completely understated?

especially among those with the attention span of a gnat! hah!

found this documentary recently that's quite good/comprehensive tho'

don't have to watch it all in one big gulp if ya's don't wanna or can't

but at least 'try' and soak it up if ya's can...

'coz it's educational in the humanity dept! :)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5_iOlas_9Q

(ya can't get into trouble with jazz see? 'coz ya gots the sex, drugs &
the rock & roll sans all the heavy metal shit heh...)

ultimately (and to give ya's a clue...) for instance: take and enslave a
'whole bunch' of uneducated but otherwise happy and well adjusted human spirits, brutally transport them off into a completely foreign land & environment far-far away from absolutely 'everything' they've ever known
or have been used to, torture them cruelly for a few hundred years in some
of the worst possible ways imaginable, abuse, squash and terrorise them +
work them to death etc etc etc, till literally the only way they can
survive is to rhythmically sing while they're worked to death in the
    fields...

and... apparently... ya might just get... Jazz! :)

that if the 'soul' (in travail) makes a noise? if ya squeeze it right out!

    then JAZZ is probably it!

(or is at least one of 'em sounds heh...)

    enjoy :)

    ### - lol i wonder why not?? (or rather; i don't wonder at all...)

ya might be able to find another version of it on there tho...

look/search for: PBS Jazz Our Language 1924-1929 (it's part 3 in the
    series)

a 2 hour documentary by ken burns...

america pisses me right off sometimes??

'coz 'good shit' like this should be freely available to 'everyone' the
    world over!

perforce 'endless' series of utter fuckin' crapola IS available?

    what a coincidence!

keep 'em dumb & in the dark man!

    it's safer that way??

    riiiiiight....

    yeah but for whom!

put a TAX on education already! having to 'pay' will put 'em right off!

(they don't want 'anyone' to evolve on this planet huh, prolly makes for
    better factory workers or summat...)

    damn shit wallyworld crap! :P
