Mr. Eight grabs Trevor’s free left wrist with his right hand; unseen the five hundred odd RN6 leaders and commandos salute knowing they may never see McBain again; or escape this realm themselves; unless The Game of Creation advances to the next
breakpoint and survives. No one present envies these two Origin Players the role of living their lives in and out of The Vaults.
Trevor calls out: “The Octagon – All Transit 64 – The Solarium.”
Mr. Eight still in his casual street attire and Trevor wearing his regular apparel of dark crisp blue dungarees and bullhide cowboy boots below a grey flannel shirt, under a desert khaki London Fog windbreaker: depart for the open
    top floor solarium of
the executive suite of convalescence units; known to the regular population of The Farm; as Northern Avenue O-Building 7A.
    The Farm

The Farm’s main avenue with a grass divider is surrounded by a sprawling web of one lane tree lined roads designed for the Model A and Model T Fords in use at the time of The Asylum’s construction. The sylvan pathways winding through groves and
orchards, are no longer used by automobiles. They are dedicated to pedestrians,
bicyclists and maroon painted eight passenger electric buses hailed from old fashioned, standing height, green metal oval shaped call boxes, sprinkled throughout the walkways,
    at two hundred foot distances.
Sturdy, open ended, wooden shade-shacks, accompany the phone, with circular tables and stout comfortable padded wooden chairs, safe from sun and rain; for the patients who might grow fatigued while exercising. The patient’s rest stops have
identification numbers for easy mapping. The University five miles to the south
and sprawling industrial park two miles north are allowed use of the discreet concealed walkways as safe transit zones.
On the eastern side of the main avenue are seven circular four story yellow brick buildings that are nicely raised above granite foundations. The ‘O’ buildings retain their original character as isolation units, from the days before antibiotics
trimmed the threat of respiratory epidemics. On the western side of Norther Avenue before the slope to the river begins are seven ‘T’ shaped four story
yellow brick buildings whose legs face southward. When The Farm was an active asylum the inner
core of each building were patients rooms with the outer boundary built as twenty foot wide glass corridors to wheel the convalescent’s beds into the sunshine and fresh air provided by the open windows. The entire complex was purchased shortly after
being abandoned in 1959 by an active group of players who would divide their strategic interest into six major consortiums.
The Farm is retained as neutral ground for injured players and the supporting
    membership.
The Farm though thoroughly modernized in its interior reconstruction and outfitted with state of the art medical equipment retains its character as an old world healing oasis, a rustic, countrified retreat in an agrarian setting. Starting far to the
north at Misty Hob the two southward divides of the Northlake River terminate in Angel Falls to the east forming the Ayre river, and Devil Falls to the west forming the broader, much shallower slow moving Challis river to the west.
The Origin Players have maintained active hidden facilities in this coastal area for many ages.
Sportsmen riding the Northern river's currents downward have to plan out and map their descent: deciding long before reaching Great Fork Falls, whether to sweep broadly right into the placid waters of Angel Falls divide and the Challis river, or allow
themselves to be pulled left, into the rapid powerful draw of the Devil Fall’s eastern prong current that creates the Ayre river.
The left hand path of Great Falls is a giant rock and water wishbone created by river crafting detonations that is not for casual boaters; a set of rapids to the east who's challenges can't be ignored or easily mastered, rapids that must be abandoned
at several points and ported around.
The dark fast moving currents of the Ayre river are held captive by the engineering of deep granite channels, further hewn and carved by uncounted underground mountain streams rising and joining at the falls to continue their seaward run that
originated in the distant northern lakes.
There are ten spans crossing the Ayre river belonging to The Farm; seven short steel bridges of trussed design and three smaller pinched stone archway bridges, from the birds eye view above, each of the ten bridges, south of the fork, looks like ten
fingers joined tightly together; bound into a two handed, steady grip, wrapped around the thin handle of a tumultuous watery cascade. Each bridge marks the site of an underground complex of electric dynamos serving Train World.
The area between the Ayre river and the Challis river, west of Oldwood Station is old and new forest land with winding well paved roads through thick high canopy woodlands. Between the two rivers are situated approximately two hundred residential
properties, each concealing a well cap attached to the currently inactive system of lightmach transportation. Some houses are still occupied and owned others are residences under management by the six major consortiums.
Most of the homes were once attached to the doctors and staff of The Asylum, all of the locales are circled by Mr. Eight’s elaborate, computational functionalities embodied by Train World which solely occupies the real purpose of the tiny hamlet of
    hidden transits called North Woods.
Technically any lands not deeded to a residence remain a part of the North Woods Reservation which is a holding corporation formed by Lucian LaGrange on behalf of his AR20 associates under the guise of the Great North Woods Hopakumitt; a federally
    recognized tribal identity.
Back just across the Ayre river on the grassy steppes before reaching the long row of ‘T’ buildings are a wide conglomeration of sports fields that can be easily viewed from the sun porches, every type of field from baseball to
    soccer to football,
with a few cricket pitches, lawn bowling and covered horseshoe pits thrown in for variety. At the center of the fields, gardens, walking trails, grottos and orchards is the large diamond shape walls of The Arboretum; home
of Lucian’s often times rival, sometimes ally, Augustus Ferguson.
The building of a Train World barrier system around Lucian’s facilities to support his AR20 consortiums activities deepened the divide between Augustus and Lucian but did not bring war.
With Lucian distracted by the battle to contain the Tower Of Absolute, Augustus
is waiting with Frank Harris, Alex Mathias and Major Danes when Mr. Eight and Trevor appear on schedule landing securely in the mid-point of the top floor solarium of
    Northern Avenue O-Building 7A.
