although these days i usually fly fully upright as though standing?

at first used to use my hand to steer in this position (with rt. palm raised/thumb-tucked at chest height like a shaolin monk lol + dunno why)
but all that's quite unnecessary now...

now i just fly vertically/face-first lol steering by thought/face alone ;)

so, here's the thing lately: am i flying against a stationary background?

or is it that i'm stationary and it's the background video only that
moves??

am getting this feeling a lot recently...

can also switch between the two perception-wise en-route?

i.e., am standing still and the background rushes/peals past me quite
fast, or the background remains still as i fly past it... turn right in
this fast mode, for example, and the new road(s) move/swing-round to face
you as you continue just staring straight ahead... (take several turns
like this in various directions and reality becomes unglued? almost cut & pasted! lol)

everything seems less real though when 'it' speeds past moi, as though the streets and houses are on an endless reel and conjured outta nothing from
an invisible point in the distance + kinda look all the same-ish/unreal at speed? endless streets to order in any direction you look heh, like you
can almost see/catch them being created from blanks in the distance or something... but always with more details + sense of reality to it when it appears to be 'me' that's moving against them...

basically: from this pov, 'distance' = just all the 'junk' scenery between
you and where you're going to? (ya get junk dna innit, well here's junk
scenery lol creating the 'illusion' of distance covered kinda thing, the
mind filling-in the blanks as required...)

so does sir wanna to take the 'scenic' route today? hah! (nah screw that,
let's just get/BE there already!)

either way i end-up rummaging around someplace in the back of my head in
some prolly obscure + long forgotten filing cabinet hahaha... hmm looks
dusty?

(junk!? lol don't bother taking me to the bridge; just get me to the dump!)

yeah i lift up to verically fly, the only way to fly
now the other night there was this person (who basically
died 30 years ago) he showed in the dream and i asked him
how he died. I didn't really know the answer, as i just
did not know this person very well. He said something about
mushrooms stuck up his exhaust pipe or something. Oh yeah
that makes good sense doesn't it? OK since i knew i was
dreaming i tried to pick him up and make him fly upwards
with me. We didn't get off the ground, so i gave it up.
But that is the first time i've ever tried to lift someone
up in a dream. I guess you're on your own dreaming. Talk
dead weight. ha ha.

OK since i knew i was

### - floated/levitated a friend of mine right off the ground once with willpower alone in some vivid/non-lucid dream, only he didn't seem to even notice and just carried on talking to someone so lowered him down again... could do almost anything in that dream, started off small moving something little next to me completely by accident, slowly realised what was
happening and eventually even pulled objects right into my hand from off
the table & moved books around on a shelf across the room... had a couple
or 3 like that, weird huh...

wishful imagining i suppose...

plus yeah... watch out for mushrooms up the bunghole mate!

(NEVER sit naked on the lawn? hehehe) :)
