### - 'omg' would be a better description of this weed heh, coz fuck me
this is a lovely draw!
and which actually smells & tastes like... pineapple! :)
plus contains one of the biggest buds to date, even bigger than the one's
in the ghost train bag!
at 26% it's also quite strong, the very first puff creating a distant
sensation of things to come...
have just finished the first one, and the overall effect is one of being
quite stoned haha, have yet to understand it's personality (the: where it
takes you to exactly bit) but it's defo a powerful smoke, intense! a
newbie would be slayed by this heh, and thang would prolly be transfixed,
or running around shouting at people (barkin' haha) but it's not trippy as
such and my sense of self remains intact albeit noticeably stoned :)
hmm, so maybe No.2 will clarify things a bit better? that old thing about
a little bit of poison being potentially very bad for you, whereas a
bigger amount of the same poison might be ok (e.g., reminds of some old
movie where the guy (maybe a cop) goes into one of these opium dens to try
it out, lays down and they give him a pipe to puff on, moments later he
starts getting the horrors and trying to get up but they hold him down and
make him smoke a few more puffs and then he's alright haha, he lays down
again and dreams just like everyone else in that place went there for ;)
plus it's taken a while, but am also coming around to understanding how
hey work all this a little more?
e.g.,cheaper items are clearly lower grade goods, either getting old or
badly packed/handled, or just all the smaller, lower-down immature buds on
the plant, what these companies are calling: 'popcorn' varieties coz in
certain instances all the buds are of the same small size and look like
little popcorns, and are generally lacking in strength and condition...
the more expensive types clearly being better grades, bigger and less
damaged, or younger on the shelf and/or better handled then... companies
having to make their money applying various business models that may or
may not pan-out, which maybe all looks good on paper but in practice not
so much and thus changes will have to be made, otherwise it's 'quality'
that appears to be the criterion for setting prices, which is potentially
a good thing because it means that at least they 'recognise' there's a
quality issue at-stake, and with people mostly only wanting the best they
can find 'quality' is set to remain as the one thing setting the
standards: the better the quality the more people will buy it and the
lower graded stuff will fade away from sale or be used for other purposes
like making extracts from or whatever, whereas currently they's
deceptively trying to sell it to the public as quality medicine?
e.g., one producer called Curealeaf, offers good, high quality weed at
high prices, they've even gained a great rep for it... but they also did a questionable thing of parceling-up the lower grades and smaller buds from
those quality ones, and sold them under a new/different brand name at a
lower price??
i mean, why not just sell them under their own brand and openly admit
they're of a lower grade, every plant has lower grade buds on it, the
majority of it is ready to harvest but the lower buds maybe didn't get as
much light, are smaller or a few days behind peak, and they can't include
that in their quality packs or they wouldn't be such high quality overall, kinda thing...
but rather than accept this and either offer the lower graded stuff at
cheaper prices (which they do anyway) and let people choose (coz not
everyone wants the strongest gear and like something a bit milder but
still having that particular taste/flavour), you've thus currently gots
all these different named strains floating about(literally 1000's of
them!) many of which are exactly the same only now it's called popcorn-OG special or whatever and sold under a different brand name as being of a different or new strain, and curealeaf do this!
tsk, tsk, tsk, curealeaf... trying to rip-off people that way is
definitely a wrongun?
there's not even any need to do it as you've already gained a rep for
producing good things, offering a lower grade of that same top-quality
flower wont make you lose that rep, rather the opposite in people's minds because they understand! you sell it at a much lower price anyway so why
hide the fact that it originally came from you and rebrand it like it's
nada to do with you?
it's not like i don't get it: you don't want to be associated with
'anything' other than the higher grades as that's the rep you quite
naturally want to gain and have, and as long as you don't mix-in the lower grades with the higher in order to get rid of them it'll stay that way!
Just handle the lower graded parts (possibly 25% of every plant) a bit
better and with more care, and offer them as being lower graded
accordingly, and coz people aren't stupid and are wondering why you're deceiving them like this when you don't really need to?
e.g., couldn't you use the lower graded material to make your concentrated extracts from for instance? it would then end up just as-strong as
anything else but just be less of it, which is the same as reducing the
price!
i blame quality control me'self hehe... people in white coats is all very
fine and well and everything, all very precise and clinical am sure, but
when it comes to quality control you have to have someone who knows wtf
they's doing ffs haha... someone who uses and loves it themselves,
personally, who appreciates it for what it is and who wouldn't dream of
ever wasting any part of it, someone who knows what to do with the lowers grades, the clippings, the fibrous stems they make clothes and other
products out of, even building materials lol, and all the rest of it...
there's even prescriptions in chinese medicine using the roots ffs!
something that sounds ideal for a new company in a world of shrinking resources, an enterprising company could thus end-up covering the whole spectrum of possible goods that can be derived from this plant, if they
had any sense!?
smile, i just wish i was a lot younger is all, that might have been a job
i'd have even enjoyed ;)
