IIRC he's known as "Mystic Guy" on YouTube, where he has a series of related videos. He may not be *the* Mystic guy, but he knows it well and provide a lot of support.

I should mention also that Greg asked Paul for help when he couldn't figure out
the connection problem between your node and Greg's. Paul found and fixed the problem. That was his only involvement in any of this.

Unfortunatly I wasn't told about this so called "fix". Greg would have to
admit something was wrong on his system. He was not willing to do that. Howeve >I did get the impression Greg thought highly of Paul. Perhaps if I'd been told
an effort was being made to fix the problem, all of this could have been avoided. 3 weeks of Greg insisting the problem was mine pushed me over the edge.

numerous times I "will never have a fidonet node in NY again". I'm wondering i

No. I got an email from a Paul Haydon saying he found corrupt files on Gregs System and thought he fixed the problem. I never heard from Greg himself. The Gag was up for Greg. He's a snake in the grass. He's a big head. The last time I had problem all of a sudden the port number changed. His ego is writing checks nobody can cash.
I really don't care who's in or out. Your the first person to even ask about what went down. I notice a lot of SysOps have an opinion about my situation with Greg. They base that opinion on what Greg tells them. Here's what I say. Greg drew first blood and until I get a public apology from him I'm not going to let it go. No BBS SysOp or BBS user should be subjected to an egomaniac like Greg. God only knows how many more big heads are Fidonet SysOps but they sure like to give me their opnion over something they know nothing about.

I only knew of the NC Gregory Dryess. I sent other Fidonet SysOps
email asking for a new NC.
I even sent Greg the advice the Dovenet SysOps gave me. Greg insisted

I hope all the other networks I carry are not like this. But being
