DM, et. al.
I'm (still) running Synchronet on an old Windows XP box; the last time I did a full update was in March. Last night, I updated from sbbs_run and sbbs.dev.zip and sbbsctrl.exe wouldn't start. It gave the following error window:
Sbbsctrl - entry point not found.
The procedure entry point inet_top could not be located in dynamic link library ws2_32.dll.
Apparently, after a bit of googling, this happens with any Windows OS <= Vista.
If it's possible to make it work again with XP, I'd be happy. Eventually I'm looking to move to Linux, but time, learning curve, etc.
I'll commit a change to remove the call to inet_ntop(). Let me know how that works for you.

I remember running my Synchronet BBS v3.15b on Windows XP in 2012.
Those were the good old days. Ran Mystic as well back then.
