What program were you using? There's NO ssh when using the ftp protocal.

You're probably trying to use SFTP. Check any protocol settings this app has available and choose FTP instead.

Make sure you are using "FTP" not "SFTP" or "SCFTP" just use FTP. I don't know anything about APPLE but what I can tell you is that many "newer" programs don't have FTP anymore. It's an old protocal and not used very much. So make sure you are uploading with only FTP. Synchronet only supports FTP at the present time.

A program described as an FTP file transfer program should support the FTP protocol standard..

71.95.196.36:22 is an SSH server. I think you TCP port 21 (the FTP port) instead.

Actually FTPS (FTP over TLS) is also supported.
