I enjoy the QWK Mail Utility with Synchronet, but I was curious as
to if additional "items" could be added to the QWK packet utility.
Right now, the only things are the list of C)onferences, and if there
is a list of new F)iles that have been uploaded.

In the past, I've been on other BBS's that have also had the following
items in the packet:

HELLO - A Welcome Screen, usually a logon ANSI.
NEWS - A System Newsletter or news bulletin.
BULLETIN - A list of updated bulletins (similar to the FILES deal now).
GOODBYE - A Logoff Screen, such as a list of other BBS's to call.

I mainly use Offline Express (OLX), because for whatever reason,
Multi-Mail for Windows kept crashing over here.

Yes, Synchronet can/will include addtional files in the QWK packets. The files are copied from your sbbs text/qwk directory and currently only the following file names are supported/packed:

qwk/hello
qwk/bbsnews
qwk/goodbye
qwk/blt-*

The QWK Mail Packet Transfer transfer option from the main menu.
That's the only way I do my messages on the BBS. I download them, read
them with Offline Express, then upload the replies. I do NOT read the
messages online.
