generil driver
I use bridged.
Then I set the IP address within the operating system
(Windows, Linux, OS/2, etc.)
Once that is set, open a command prompt
and type "ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx", (ping router.ip.address) or web
browser (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx), to see if you can reach the router.
You can also set up Virtual Box under Settings > Display > Remote
Display and use Remote Desktop Connection (vm.ip.address:port#) and control the computer as if you were at the keyboard and screen.

Hi Mortifis
I have downloaded oracle virtualbox 6.02 I am after same help please
I have setup win 10 32 bit (guest I think) install a virus scanner
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Just curious here you are using VB v6.02 and installing win 10 32-bit? I was under the impression 32 bit support is no longer supporting 32 bit hosts, or are you setting it up as a 32-bit guest?
I started of with virtualbox 6.00 upgrdaded to 6.02 I have installed win 10 32 bit
into virtualbox 6.02 in setup option 32 bit which as the guest running it the win 10
which I am sure it is guest anyway , and yes win 10 32 bit does run virtualbox fine
however still a problem 16 bit games (bre) when I run it it asked me to install ntvdm
which I did, but ntvdm just crashed so you migbt be right 32 bit support isn't no longer supported
but then again same one might now how to fix that ntvdm just crashed but not e.
Thank you
According to what you have posted below, you already have proper connections.
ttl=64
I am sure that is working okay I think
Yes, it appears so.
You can also set up Virtual Box under Settings > Display > Remote
Display and use Remote Desktop Connection (vm.ip.address:port#)
and control the computer as if you were at the keyboard and
screen.

I use it on all my VM's so I don't have to be at the host computer to access it.
machine is actually the BBS computer running Debian Linux and one of
the guests is Windows XP and one is OS/2. Just to toy around with...
I have received a lot of help here. I am just glad I can pay it
forward.

As much as I dislike Winbloz, I picked up an old HP AIO win win10-x64
and installed Virtualbox 6.02 and installed Win7-32 ... it didn't like some of the 32 bit apps (NTVDM being one of them) so I uninstalled
VB6.02 and installed VB 5.22 and win7 32 and all is well
