anyway listing bulletins stops the BBS

I've seen this too but after a cvs update and make it seems to be working as expected.

An update will get you back into a good place I think.

Ok, So I got the PI version working but testing it when I list bulletins
I get this error

Can you elaborate on what "listing bulletins" entails? Are using bullseye.js or something else?

Yes using bullseye, this is just on the test Raspberry PI intranet (inhouse) BBS.
it is PI 3.17 ver.

Yes using bullseye, this is just on the test Raspberry PI intranet (inhouse) BBS.
