Yes, it was the same "test" subject. Just odd since I replied to the
whole newsgroup instead of anyone in that thread. Don't want anyone
coming down on me for reviving old threads. :)
test
FYI, when I view this test message via ECweb, it appears as a reply to another message: test From bytor@VERT to alt.bbs.synchronet on Thu Jun
13 20:36:00 2013
Also there appears to be 3 message threads with latest reply from 2015
at the top of the of the Synchronet Discussion and then the rest appear
to be in order by date from today back.

Does that other message have the same subject? Because of inconsistent

Yeah, that's weird. They're supposed to be sorted by the date of the newest message in the thread. I'll see if I can figure that one out.

I've seen that on my BBS sometimes too, where on ecweb, the messages at the top are older ones.

I don't really see a problem with reviving an old thread, if you have something new to ask or contribute. People often seem to react like reviving an old thread is against the law or something..

My wife has a closet full of jeans if you're interested in reviving old threads :-P

if there's a good reason, sure. otherwise it's against the law.

In that case, you'd better quote the Act and Regulations, with links for verification. ;)
