that DoveNet is fine, it only shows me the unread ones. Any ideas?

Your scan configuration and pointers (for the first/sysop user) should be stored at:

data/user/0001.subs

Maybe grab one of the sections from that file corresponding to a sub that you're having this problem with, and paste it here.

Are you peforming a new-message scan or some other kind of message scan?

Maybe double-check your new-scan settings (&N command from the main menu of the
default/classic shell).
