    To stay on topic; What is the Mystic Time Zone Environment Variable used for? How is it set?

    I didn't know there was a time zone environment that Mystic would use. Mystic has always set the time and TZUTC kludge correctly for me without me needing to set any.

    It's usually picked up by the variable being set in the OS.
    You see it used as a kludge line in echomail amongst other things.

    It's used for Mystic's binkp mailer, in order to observe the FTSC spec on ZMH (zone mail hour) which I don't think anyone really uses anymore since dialup mail transfer is mostly dead, but it is a spec never-the-less.
