Hello All

I joined Fido Net the other day
and I see I have mail still waitting to be inported , but it wont inport

the log says wrong password , but I can see the message in plane txt , so I dont know why it would need a pw

this was a responce form AREAFIX from the Fido net host

now I do notice there is a different node number on the message from the one
I sent to , they said put a AKA in to add the node number ,

I cant find a plase to put a AKA node number in a set up

I also belong to SF NET , and I dont have a problem getting thre return mail

Yes I have 2 areas set up one for SF Net mail and Fido Net Mail , as per the videos

I know the mesages are not importent as I can read them , but ould be nice to have them in the BBS ...

A .pkt password isn't for encryption. It's there to ensure that a mail tosser only imports the packets that it's supposed to into the message bases. If your uplink has a .pkt password set up for you, you need to configure Mystic to
use it or it will assume the mail is not safe and will not toss it.
