  • Global Scan Issue

    Hi, I have been working on the BBS for some time now, taking my time because
    I have a life... Somewhere along the line my global scan has stopped working.

    For example, if you respond to this message, and I hope you do, if I global scan my message base looking for your responce it will not show up

    I did change the letter to exicute this option from "G" to "1"...

    Ideas??

    There really isn't enough information here for me figure out what might
    be going on. When you press 1 does it execute the global scan? Lets start there. If it does you could try resetting your new message
    pointers to the previous day (default is D on the message menu).


    I'm not sure what I was doing wrong with the global scan.... BUT if I do a
    new scan and then select "P"ersonal it'll pick up new mail for me...

    How about first upgrading to the lastest release Joe, then see where your
    at?

    Joe eventually did... and anyway... always worked and then stopped... Anyway, I've hammered through almost every issue... I'm about 99.999% happy with the BBS. BTW, I have found if I do a "New Mail" search and then press "P" for personal mail I can pickup my personal mail...
