    So, I decided to actually RTFM and it seems I have to press L1 and Select to create a save state and press R1 to load it. *facepalm*

    So loading is easier than saving? That sounds dangerous to me.

    I remember too well all those times when I beat a hard part of a game and then tried to save it, hitting the load buttom by accident and trashing all my efforts.

    My father did that playing the original Diablo. He was angry at me for some reason after that :-S
