Is there a way to validate an online user? If I go through the user editor
it tells me that they can't be upgraded while online. Is there some sort of hotkey with nodespy or something?

in the windows alt-v to view their screen then alt-e then ctrl-u

Yes, alt-v to view their session, then alt-e to edit them online, the ctrl-u
to upgrade ... save and escape a few times..

Sorry I'm late to this thread.

In the Linux version of Mystic, there isn't a way to do this. In the Windows version, you can actually open the window and watch what the user is doing while online. The Linux version doesn't give you that option.

On Windows, if you open the 'users' window, you can alter their settings, and upgrade them while they are online.

I think this is a difference between windows and linux as in windows when a node is active I can opt to maximise the session window. Use alt-v to view
the nodes activity then alt-e to edit the node while online... but in Linux I suspect there is no such option.

I just checked nodespy and when using 'snoop' you can only drop into chat
with the node or 'kick' them off the bbs

I should have read this before I replied :)

A nice to have in Nodespy would be to invoke the alt-e editor ... Ill note
this as a feature request.
