Got a newbie question here.. Installing InterBBS Last Callers Mod, and am getting a MPL Version mismatch uses cfg M112A39 I put it in the prelogin menu as a GX command. What I am doing wrong here??

I would drop to your mystic/scripts dir then run

mplc -all

This will compile the script using the latest MPL version that ships with
your Mystic. Just check you updated this if you have upgraded your system recently - it can be easy to forget to do this :)

If you need the file you can run a fresh install of A39 to a bogus dir then copy both executable files in the scripts sub dir across to your running system.

Did as you said Paul, I re-compiled the scripts and also changed the menu call to .mpx from .mps and from the main menu as a menu option it works great sending to the message base, but from the Prelogin sequence menu it doesn't work. I'm at a loss there.. Also the xq-ilc_get.mpy gives the same error as before. Version mismatch from mystic_b now that one I am lost with also.. Jeez.. I am such a newbie!!

Ok.... Got the send function working.. Stupid spelling error on my end.. Now
I just don't see the listing.. Still working on it... :)

Ok.. Here goes last statement on this.. I have the send function working
now.. The get function and display part isn't working. Right now for testing purposes I set it up as a menu function. I have xq-ilc_get.mpy running first in a mpl GX call. then right after that I call xq-ilc and I get No Data to display exiting... I have the outdir set to c:\mystic\scripts\xq-ilastcaller
is that correct sounding?? I am so lost it's rediculous.. Thanks to anyone
who can lead me in the right direction...

Try putting it as the first command in the prelogin menu. I had the same
issue until I did that. For some reason it works fine there...

You'll want to only have the xq-ilc_send running on the prelogin menu. The other ones will be on a different menu option. Make sure it's the first entry.

We'll try... :)

Once you have the prelogin menu set, you can add a menu option to whichever menu you'd like, I have it on my main menu here. Set up a command like:

Display Text (L) InterBBS Last Callers
Hot Key - L
...
Command
(GY) Execute Python Module xq-ilc_get
(GX) Execute MPL program xq-ilc.mpx

This way, when you hit 'L' from the main menu, Mystic will execute the GY command first, and then the GX command.

some reason it is showing it like 132 columns or something but that is
minor.. Thank you so much!

Got everything working.. Question though. The screen setting is off looks
like it is trying to transmit at 132 columns, I checked the screens and they are all 80 column. Once again I am lost here.. But I'm definitely learning. That's a good thing.. LOL
