Hello All,
I recently found an interesting database. It's called Open Food Facts. It's located at
https://world.openfoodfacts.org.
So far I imported the database into my Mongo DB instance. And exported to csv some of the data (name, nutrition facts). And then imported into sqlite database. The question is. Would be anyone interested in the sqlite database
I prepared? So far I created a simple page that queries the sqlite database. It's not really something special. But it could serve to query the basic nutrition facts regarding food.
I didn't yet find any better way to query by code than use mobile bar code scanner and then copy it into the web-page form. And there is still plenty
work on it. I'm quite glad about this kind of open data.
Best regards
Shinobi
