• Problem With new Users

    Hello,
    My bbs is giving me grief.. anybody who created a new account gets this message.. why is this happening?
    LOGIN: traci crawford
    PASSWORD: ***********
    You cannot login to more than one node at a time.
    -=Paused=-

    any ideas on why this is?

    Looks like Mystic thinks that person is logged in on another node.

    I just did a quick login and had no problem.

    Somehow your login/new account process is leaving the user logged in. If you load up nodespy how many other users are listed who are ghosts?

    Also there is a setting to log the user in after creating an account is this
    on and or off?

    I did create an account and am sure not logged in at the moment and was able
    to replicate your issue.

    use nodespy and kill ghost nodes

    You're on a linux system? run "ps -ef | grep mystic" to see if any stale connections. I know that others have told you about nodespy. The problem
    with nodespy is that it only lists active nodes if there is an active
    chat.dat file for the node. It is possible to delete the chat.dat files and still have a stale network connection. If you find any stale mystic
    processes, you'll need to kill them.
