All,

I'm looking for a DOS based chat door. I've tried a few out, but I get some weird error 202 or something. Trying to get a chat door installed so that I
can have interBBS chat with all three programs loaded...

you mean rt 200. that means it was compiled in turbo pascal and does that on faster processors. look for tppatch and patch the .exe and it will work.

Sounds like old DOS programs that need to have "tppatch.exe" ran on them.

I'll do that. I founnd a pretty good chat door, but there are other doors
that I want to install that had that error.

I have the patch program. CRTPATCH.ZIP on my BBS Another F-ing BBS. Run that
on the .EXE you have (keep a separate copy elsewhere just in case) . It
fixes a crt unit error in the .EXE you have so it will run. All of the Turbo Pascal programs I write for BBS's have to have that done so they will work.

That's because your co-sysop uploaded it a month or more ago when he
first mentioned the Turbo Pascal issues. :P

Not sure being I never went into RIP too often. But it was if not the most
one of the most used in the day.
