• Do I have to start edit something?

    Hello Avon,

I hope I'm writing in the right section and that you'll read this message - I've seen how much work you recently put on fsxNet and additional nets to be integrated - I don't want to bother, I like to get rid of problems by myself, if I can... but this is too new and 'exotic' too, for me. Do I have to edit some configuration files in Mystic? What do I have to do, precisely, to show recently made modifications in fsxNet structure?

    Thanks!

    Interesting question.

Well the fact that you're posting here means your Mystic system has auto created the message base and done so using the settings defined in your mailin.ini for auto created bases.

You may want to review the ACS settings for this new base on your BBS along with the FSX_BOT base as well. Just check you have the correct s10, s20 etc. settings applied for list, read etc. I don't know about you but I tend to set all my auto created stuff to s255 then go back in and manually set them to a lower security level when I make them live for other users to read/post to.

You may also want to update the description of each base so it just doesn't show up in the message base list as FSX_MYS and FSX_BOT - it's better to set them as follows.

    FSX_MYS Mystic BBS Support/Dev
    FSX_BOT Automated roBOT Posts

    Hope that helps :)

    Best, Paul

Thanks Paul! I'm just checking Message Base Editor.
