Is anyone else getting errors trying to access http://mysticbbs.com ?

Yes. It's a common error. Most hosts have bandwidth limits. You can
always pay for more, but the cheap hosts at base level only give you so
much. When you have used up all your bandwidth, they cut you off. It'll probably be accessible again on the 1st. Probably a lot of people
    picking up the latest alpha.

It's nothing to worry about. Just wait a few days.

I think it was grymmjack originaly but I don't know how it is being handled today.

We could possibly get around this and lower the costs of hosting the website by hatching these files and transfering by binkp to those connected.

Not a replacement for the website but those connected to the area wouldn't need to get those files from there.

g00r00 is the man. Though running out a few days before the beginning of
the month isn't unheard of. Anyone whose done any kind of web design and hosting has ran into this issue a time or two or 10. Having one heavy
month doesn't warrant paying for another tier higher if your typical
monthly bandwidth is significantly under what you have. If a site is constantly going over month after month, then I could see possibly paying
for more, but most of the time it's not worth it for something that may
happen once or twice a year.

Grymmjack never actually owned it (that I can recall) but he did do two of the site designs that were used on the domain.

Mystic's website started as a "GeoCities.com" community site in 1997. It was "QueTwo" who originally registered mysticbbs.com in the late 90s and helped us host it, followed by Jason Scott (who went on to do the BBS documentary). After that it becomes a blur, unfortunately.

The site has moved around between a handful different people over the past 20 years but sometime in 2006 ish, the domain got renewed by a random domain snagging company and I ended up registering mysticbbs.org (which I left expire after a year or two).

Thankfully someone was able to get mysticbbs.com back in 2008 (ish) when it became available again during my hiatus from development, and it ended up in the hands of Jack Phlash who has been hosting the site (for free) since 2009.

JP deserves much good fortune for all of his generosity over the years (as do so many of you who have helped me both old and new).
