So far there is second change and that's the I tried to keep my session possible open for 24 hours. So I created another user level called hanger with 1440 minutes available for the day. The consequence could be that
the user wouldn't log out anytime soon from the BBS and if kept hanging only my myself could get him down. I doubt this is sane configuration but at least for now and testing it will help me a lot not to keep the necessity to logon again and again.
That's fine for a Sysop acct. I can't say I would set a user up that way. Even if you wanted to grant users all the time in the world, nobody would actually spend 24 hours on the board straight. You might consider something like 23 hours, so it gives some opportunity to hang up in case of any odd glitches that keeps someone logged in, but I'd look at breaking that up if possible. Maybe 24 hours of access, but minimized to 4 hour increments at a time. That seems more logical. I still can't imagine someone spending 4
hours straight through, but if they're really into some door games, it could
be done I suppose. I think I might look into that a bit more myself. Give users 24 hours in a day but in 4 hour increments. I like that idea. It's not like the days of old where you're monopolizing a dialup single dialup line. Anyone can have a 10+ node BBS these days without the expense of 10 phone lines. :)
