any one have the same config files? do they have extentions? im getting to much hassle from allfix and it seems the current author could care less

What do you mean by same config files??
If you are talking about sample config files, they are included in the source tarball.

do they have extentions?

For linux I have the main fidoconfig here
/usr/local/etc/fido/config
and it contains an include statement for htick

All other extensions are irrelevant, as you need to add an include statement for it anyhow!

The only config that is defined is fidoconfig
From there you can have one huge monolythic block, or you can include small subfiles.
