I have written a Telnet server as a proof of concept. I have no issue connecting to the new server with any telnet client. I want to connect to it from Mystic. I setup the IT command with the following data /addr=[newserver] /port=23. When I run the command from the menu, I connect, but the new server does not see any incoming key strokes.

Am I missing something setting up the menu option?

I figured it out. I had the server and the client on the same machine, thus when I tried to hop from the BBS back to the server, the packet did not know
to go to the client or server.

Telneted from a 3rd PC and all works.
