I get this sometimes and usually I'll hop on nodespy and kill the ghost then delete mis.bsy semaphore and relog in and that fixes it up. As for why, I couldn't tell you.
Not a Ghost in this case, it follows what the other node is doing. If I set at a menu it says in menus, if I go to files in says in files. Both nodes are always doing the same thing. A ghost doesn't follow, it just sits there hung.
I noticed you're telnet server is on port 23. I believe I read somewhere on linux you have to run as root to use ports under something like 1024 (not exact on the number) or things get weird.
