I think I have found a bug or at least a minor annoying behavior.
If I go into the Files selection and tell it to (L) List Files, I many times only mark a single file. Then, when I go to Download what is in the queue, I only have those protocols available suitable for multiple file downloads.
If the queue has only a single file, it should offer up the file transfer protocols such as XMODEM CRC as well.
I have been doing a lot of file download and upload testing with a Geneve
9640 computer (upgrade from a TI-99/4A) with the WiModem232. It is a WiFi RS232 modem that is getting some significant interest in the TI-99/4A and Geneve community.
I have been trying to resolve some uploading and downloading issues when transferring to/from a Mystic BBS thinking that with Xmodem CRC with 128 byte transfers may give more reliability than 1K byte transfers for each record.
Anyways, the uploading/downloading concerns are not an issue to Mystic. Just
I sometimes approach the file download process in a manner that does not give me the protocol option I am wanting to use.
