I was just curious how the server has been holding up. I haven't heard much lately (which is a good thing) but I'm also really behind in going through my Netmail messages as well.

Darn it, I spoke too soon.

Been having strange problems with Agency tonight. Both Telnet and BinkP
servers are not responding. Even polling within the same machine I am having issues getting a BinkP or Telnet connection in. Don't know why and I think
it's likely unrelated to any recent domain name stuff I have been doing.

I note when I shut the server down it stops the event system but waits the
full 60 secs to close mystic server... never used to do that.

I had tried to add IPv6 to the BinkP and Telnet servers a little earlier tonight but I think that's also possibly a red herring.

I removed both servers from mystic -cfg and re-created them. I then tried to connect via the ftelnet client at bbs.geek.nz and could connect on one port
but subsequent telnet connections while answered.. connect port 23... there
was no further output from mystic - opening copy right info etc... none of that, just a blank screen... meanwhile on the mystic server I saw no incoming connections being reported.

What to do?

I've just deleted both servers again and re-added them in. Saw an internal binkD <> mystic binkp work as expected but not sure for how long..

So things seem to be working again for now, I managed to get all 7 ports I
have available tied up and running ok before I got the busy text info I had
set up..

I am unsure why things are working now. I'll need to think back what I did. It's late now so am a bit tired, I wonder if it was related to adding in IPv6 or just something like having a certain screen up on the server.. not sure..
