• "Running out of time"

    Good Morning from Storm Grayson,

I keep "running out of time" on my sysop account. I have to sometimes log in
to the system via SSH, get in to the Mystic Config and add more time to my account.

Is there an unlimited setting that I can adjust for all of my users and me?

    Thank you

mystic -cfg -> editors -> security editor -> 255 -> time per day raise it. i put 9000 and then save it

then give your self 255 again and it will be there.

I am having that issue when using the mailreader script when logged in locally using the -l switch. I have to keep going into Mystic config and adding time. Otherwise the mailreader exits immediately upon loading. It seems the highest number of minutes that can be given is 1440.

    Time Left 1440

I also have the timeout set to no.

    No Timeout Yes

How many minutes do you have configured in your security profile for the access level your user has? It is there (in the security level editor) that you'll want to set it to 1440.

Timeout is not time per day, its for inactivity timeout (hopefully it should tell you that in the description at the bottom) so this is unrelated to what you're seeing.

I did set it to that once.... under "time left".

    Is that per day?

    Thank you,
    Derek

In the Security Levels editor, you would select your security level and then set "Time Per Day" to something higher than 1440 which is the number of
    minutes in a day.

Each day a user logs in for the first time, Mystic will allocate the user
with whatever number of minutes is configured for their security level.

Did you validate yourself as SysOp in the User Editor?
