• MPY msg_read errors

    g00r00,

I've isolated the errors in ibol.mpy and sbbl.mpy to all the functions that have anything to do with reading the message bases. I tested it out with
your msgread.mpy script and it fails every time.

Thanks. For some reason it appears to be working for me. I tested
msgread.mpy in 32-bit Windows and 64-bit Linux and it worked.

I've just updated the prealphas. Maybe I accidentally fixed something
already so when you can please update and let me know if msgread still gives you issues. I also updated msgread.mpy slightly.

This will at least get us using the identical code and we can go from there
if you still have an issue. Let me know, thanks!

Just an update. I am using A37 2017/12/31 14:18:33 under Linux/64 here. I am still having the issue with some of the MPY files as well. msgread.mpy, ibol.mpy, etc.

    node1.log:
    2017.12.31 15:42:03 Python execute: msgread.mpy
    2017.12.31 15:42:03 An error has occured (216)
    2017.12.31 15:42:03 Shutting down

This seems to be a compilation issue. I am working on it, thanks for letting me know its still an issue.

Ok, I have the 12/31 version of linux/64. I copied the msgread.mpy from the installation directory and I'm using that. It *is* working for me and my sbbl.mpy and ibol.mpy are also working for me. So that is a change from what
I was seeing in the previous prealpha. +1

It seems to be fixed in the official release of A37. Great Job! :)

I can confirm the MPY's are now running again. I tried the ibol.mpy and msgread.mpy, and both work, with no 216 errors. :)
