• ANSI Editor

I used the built in ansi edito to make a simple change (typo) to an ansi screen. The screen had some line formatting where a list started at a
    specific x,y.

When I saved the ansi (only changing text) it seems that the built in ansi editor moved the lines around. I checked the cfg files and according the x,y coords in the the mystic ansi editor, it was correct, yet it was displayed
    2-3 lines too high.

    Anyone else had issues?

What was the ANSI screen? What is an older template ANSI that requires
screen info location codes? If so, you have to manually add those in yourself.

On 01/06/18, g00r00 pondered and said...

I still need to add some block functions in there and a help file but so far it has worked well for me. One thing I love is that you can set
those parameters like abort on/off, display speed, etc, and it will generate the MCI codes for it. But when you reload that same ANSI it
will also parse out all of those values so you retain the options
    between edits.

I was going ask about some of that... by block functions do you mean like having the ability to mark a section of the screen as a chunk / block of ANSI art and then be able to copy / paste / save it elsewhere / etc.? That's something I used with The Draw and also the ability to have pages of screens (sort of like virtual clipboards) you could toggle between and cut/paste
stuff too you wanted to keep and pull back in elsewhere... like save a
blocked section of ANSI to page 2, load in new ANSI in page 1 and the toggle
to page 2, reselect the ANSI on page 2, copy it, toggle back to page 1, paste it in etc... would anything like that be possible in the future?

    Best, Paul

I am planning to do block functions, yes. CTRL+B to start marking then
you'll use the arrow keys to mark (maybe mouse too we'll see). You can then copy, paste, stamp, delete, move, and center blocks.

I wasn't really planning to do pages, but that is something I will keep in
    mind for the future.

That was actually what I wanted to do tonight, but I ended up unable to do
any programming tonight and very little this weekend at all which is a huge disappointment :(
