    Have you taken a look at makenl_ng? That program will do all the nodelist work for you.

    I've also got a scriptable win and Linux perl program in the works that will
    do nodelists easily for other nets. Not really for Fido

    Yes sir. It's the main supported nodelist processing software used in
    Fidonet and elsewhere, upkept by Andrew Leary (BitByter on FSXNet). You can find it on sourceforge.

    hmmm but my nodelist is done i just add new boards and change the date on the top and the extension then mutil compiles it and i zip it the net nodelist
    and hatch, so that program is not needed for me but thank you.

    No problem. Just so you know for the future, makenl_ng you don't even have to change the date and extension, as it does it for you. All you do is add nodelist entries, and it will also fail and/or tell you if the nodelist entry is incorrect or bad format.

    Doesn't really matter though if you already have something that works for you.

    Understood,

    This app is to create nodelists on a specific interval with no user interaction, unless you change your control file to add new nodes.

    Its not finished, and its meant to autmate. I hate creating nodelists, so
    this will do it for you.

    Not trying to promote it, i developed for myself. If someone wants to use it, great. Its meant, to create your nodelists with no interaction without
    complex programs writtin 25 years ago. Its lightweight and fast being run on perl and works on Win and Linux pretty flawless.

    Its not finished. I was just stating its a project i am working on, when I
    get time which isnt often lately.
