• # of undread local messages

From peconi@21:1/172 to All on Thursday, September 29, 2016 19:11:00
Is there a pipe code in Mystic to display the # of undread/new local messages?

I checked all the codes and did not see one there, which is quite weird.

    Thanks,

    P.

Just making sure this didn't get missed somehow (as in, my BBS did not send
    the message actually :)

    Tnx.+

No not as yet. Perhaps there is not one per see?

But I have been thinking about this and the closest I can think of that may help is the output of the Message Base 'QuickScan' menu command (MQ) as that will report numbers of messages and unread etc.

That may deliver a screen output that suits your needs?

It would be if I wanted another screen, but I'd like to show the user # of unread/new messages directly on the Messages screen itself. Like a little
    inbox new mail counter.
