Now the really strange thing is that I also upgraded my other win7 machine from a36_w64 to a37_w64. But that mystic system will display the exact sam
termtype.ans file perfectly ine without any problems at all. In other wor this is a real mind-bender for me because know matter what I've tried to d
in pablodraw to fix the crappy choppedup screen.. it stays screwed up but
only on the inux/64 mystic a37 system. To see for yourself what is happen linux is on port:23 and the window7 is on port:2362

I'll try uploading the exact same ansi screen in question now to see if it will display correctly here in the FSE, see what happens.. /U
Skuz, update the db on the win7 box and same thing prob will happen. It is possible how the ansi is saved, I had been wondering about this and will check out the ansi and see if can re-save it so can show properly.
I had the same problem with that particular screen (the first one users see when they connect), and Caphood suggested using a util to convert
the ANSI to Mystic pipe codes. Seems to work OK now.
Would you mind e-mailing me the exact .ANS file and where you are using
it and I will set it up in Linux and see if I can reproduce/fix the
issue.

syntax is: ANS2MBBS file.ans file.txt then edit the file.txt
to replace all instances of tilde ~ with a pipe code | and save as file.ans or whatever name you want to call it.
i write a program that converted tilde to pipe. i should find it.

Sure, like i say it is being user in the default.txt LINE# 259 the ans is called termtype and it is the just first thing a user see when they connect.

Muhahahahha! Well played!
Skuz - It's that ANS2MBBS.EXE I'm sure you have it.see when they connect), and Caphood suggested using a util to co the ANSI to Mystic pipe codes. Seems to work OK now.

reminding me. It's funny how only the default.txt line 256 was effected with display issues out of so many other lines that also use @filename
.. Maybe the a37 upgrade has had some unexspected effect on something
