I think I may have found another clue as to what might be happening on my system, with MIS server not authenticating connections...

Today, when I got home, I noticed that one of my events had hung up the
system. (IBBS game packet processing) On the screen, it said "Too many files open" and "Press any key to continue".

What I've done, is increased the file handle limit for the Linux user
account. I hope this is all it was causing me problems... :)

Alright. I think I have this problem fixed! I had to increase, not only the file handle limit, but also the open files for the BBS user on Ubuntu. After doing this, MIS ran for over 4 days with no problems! :)

I did have to restart it tonight though, as I installed the newest pre-alpha version. ;)
