    g00r00,

One more idea. This one is a shot in the dark and harder.

Keep nodespy. Create a service in services for connecting to the server over
    a port remotely.

Allow nodespy to do its bizness remotely for sysops. Paging, chat, (SPLT SCREEN!), kick, snoop, and maybe restart services??

I run a headless server, so a nodespy tool for window and linux that can
manage my server would just be so awesome.

It would be revolutionary and very 21st century BBS'ing if nothing else.
And with fast internet, this is a possibility now.

    Thanks!

YES PLEASE!!! I'd love to be able to manage my BBS across the LAN with nodespy or equivalent. :)
