It seems I am all set for receiving messages (echomail), and netmail works without issues to both fsxNet and RetroNet, however, sending echomail does not.
Is there a node configured to export to in the message area setup?

No there was not. I do not know how I missed that setting when re-setting up the stuff. I am sending this now from my BBS. If you get it, that was exactly what was missing, but I am pretty confident you got it :)

I've been bit by that before.. ;)
Yep that was (I think) something I suggested you check in my email reply to you at Agency. Glad you got it sorted. Thanks Al :)

You are correct, but you said to check if they are linked, and I assumed as one setting had the node address set, that was it. The key was word "export".
The 'node address set' you're referring to I am guessing is the 'net address' field in a message base? If so, no, that's no it. What I meant was (as you have now correctly figured out) the 'export to' field. So
when I referred to checking 'the base is linked to 21:1/100 echonode' that's what was I meant :)

1) Cfg >> Message settings >> Create Semaphore = MsgPost
2) mail_out.ini >> Under [ExportEchoMail] Add 'skip_online=false'
