    They are now or should be. I use it all the time. I can telnet out to another bbs upload/download, then chain from some of them to another, another,
    another and upload/download. That's is far as I've tried, but many systems
    have a telnetout now and upload/download should work. The chain of 4 systems telnetout was an experiment, but worked (for me).

    it would not me do transfers so i stopped using it and used the telnet door.

    Thanks for the info.

    I tested it yesterday as well and I was able to telnet into a Mystic system
    and then using outbound telnet to another system and download a file using NetRunner and Zmodem.
