    Is there any info or guidelines on editing/formatting the ansimidx.ans file?

    It's in the ansimidx.ini in the text directory

    You just edit it to look how you want you don't have any codes to insert or anything like that like the old style templates. The newer templates instead use an .ini file which contains the configuration options and prompts specific to that specific function (ansimidx.ini in your case).

    Once you save the ANSI you'd possibly have to update the prompts in ansimidx.ini to make the listing of areas look exactly the way you want.
