    I deleted FTP & NNTP before this last update on the A36, and recreated them, but the ftp doesn't work or show up:
    Starting Nmap 7.01 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2017-11-25 08:26 EST
    Nmap scan report for localhost (127.0.0.1)
    Host is up (0.00017s latency).
    Not shown: 993 closed ports
    PORT STATE SERVICE
    22/tcp open ssh
    23/tcp open telnet
    25/tcp open smtp
    110/tcp open pop3
    119/tcp open nntp
    513/tcp open login
    631/tcp open ipp

    Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.09 seconds
    No matter what I do the ftp doesn't show up on Linux/32 (Ubuntu 16.04). Not sure why, this is really just an alpha test system so not a big issue, but
    the NNTP shows and the FTP doesn't. I can delete and re-created it all I
    want, but even with killing mis2 and restarting it never shows!

    What does your MIS2 log say when the FTP server is starting up?

    ---------- Mystic v1.12 A35 Sat, Nov 25 2017 (loglevel 3)
    + 09:04:09 MANAGER Starting 5 server(s)
    + 09:04:09 MANAGER Starting servers in DAEMON mode
    + 09:04:09 RLOGIN Listening on IPV4 port 513 using interface "0.0.0.0"
    + 09:04:09 TELNET Listening on IPV4 port 23 using interface "0.0.0.0"
    + 09:04:09 RLOGIN Listening on IPV6 port 513 using interface "::"
    + 09:04:09 TELNET Listening on IPV6 port 23 using interface "::"
    + 09:04:09 BINKP Listening on IPV4 port 24554 using interface "0.0.0.0"
    + 09:04:09 BINKP Listening on IPV6 port 24554 using interface "::"

    So says starting 5 but only shows 3 listening. Not sure what's going on with the other two (FTP, NNTP). So I guess something is stopping them from
    starting up. Will upgrade to the latest alpha (11/27) and try again this week.

    Can you show your MIS2 server configuration? Are you sure they are active? Remember, the MIS settings do not apply.

    The log you show is only showing 3 servers starting, which would be why you are seeing 3 servers starting.
