• Prealpha full build updated

From g00r00@21:1/108 to All on Sunday, November 19, 2017 18:30:00
I've updated the prealpha build for Windows and Linux.

This one has IPV6 fidopoll and FTP server among some other little things,
some of which has little testing.

Please let me know if you have any problems.

    Enjoy!

Hopefully it works. I don't have IPV6 *STILL* (damn you Verizon) so it doesn't get well-tested by me. Adding IPV6 into the FTP server was a big pain in the ass too but that should be done in MIS2 also.

I still need to redo the "FTP Poll" part of FIDOPOLL to use the new socket engine so it can do IPV6 too.

I'll be sure to let you know :) Just got home, doing a few household chores next but will be updating etc. in the next few hours. All good on the *.BSY logging... I hope we can catch what's happening as it does seem a little elusive right now.

Oh, unrelated... I noted a guy in the MYSTIC echo offering you an NNTP
account should you want it in order to try and bake in tighter integrated access between Mystic and NNTP. I run a INN2 peered NNTP server over here
which you are welcome to have an account with if your ever down that path of wanting to work on that aspect of Mystic further. The server resides at news.bbs.geek.nz on port 119 but port 80 shows the daily stats etc.

Anywhoo.. just offering should you wish to have access to test account.

    Best, Paul

I'll probably do a NEWSPOLL type thing at some point. I plan to open up the POP3/SMPTP servers for real e-mail and part of that will be building out spam filtering. I can reuse that for newsgroups too.

I have such a long list of things to do though, so who knows when.

I know, it's getting a tad crazy long IMHO :) All good. Access is there
    if/when you want it :)
