so one of my downlinks is not getting packets or sending to an

Interesting, just saw that behavior with mis2 ftp as well. Username was fine, but it wouldn't take the password. It was saying bad password on that as well. Didn't matter if it was upper or lower case, still says it was bad.

You have to use a password to exchange echomail via BINKP.

MIS2 FTP isn't even a thing yet. When it is, it will be in the whatsnew.

He is talking about unsecured BINKP transfers of echomail.
