In short I'm not sure but how are you saving the file(s)?

    Is it GROUP1.ANS and/or GROUP1.ACS ?

And you do have message groups defined for the numbers you're using?

    Best, Paul

Make sure you are using the group's Unique ID. Are you talking about from
    the "MG" menu command?

I'm using them here with no problems. Just make sure the number is the same
in the file name as it is for the group number.

For example, fsxNet is my group number 4, so the file name is group4.ans.

As you are using Linux as well, you might want to make sure the case of the files are correct as well. (I've done that myself...)

Yup... fsxNet is group 3 so I put the nifty ANSI that came with the infopack
    as group3.ans and nuttin'

Just for completeness I'd try changing it all to upper case in case case matters... now my head hurts - ha! :)

Nope all files are lower-cased in Linux Mystic with the exception of some door drop files. Maybe its an access issue?
