i tried killing some of the inactive users (more than 3yrs of not calling). UKILL is there but UPACK is not. ok so, now i have a lot of users who have
been "let go", how do i delete them for good?

while at it, i tried calling as one of the user id's who has been deleted. i could not login (apparently i lack a pause in the prompt but im guessing that it says "invalid account" or something like that.

Then i tried applying as the user who shows up DELETED. it works! i can re-apply. I applied, filled in the infos, so on. then i was bumped back into the matrix and selected "login" that logs in the current user. it logged
me/him in without asking for the password. the user has a s100/normal user access immediately upon telnetting in, so that could be expected, but does it cache the current user somewhere and let him login right away?

Yes, if you just applied it won't reask you for your user name if you have access to bypass the login. You can also have it not return to the matrix too if you want to by setting an option.

The user pack was removed from mbbsutil because it was dangerous to use. I
am going to redo it in MUTIL but not until after I get rid of MIS which has been where I spend almost all of my time lately. Almost done with it though!
